Shaston was the name immortalised by the Nineteenth Century novelist Thomas Hardy which he dedicated to the town of Shaftesbury in Dorset.

Sarah Wheeler was born in Dorset and has spent the last fifteen years of her life in Shaftesbury, where she has developed her lifelong passion of photography. The beautiful surroundings of the County have inspired her love of the countryside and enabled Sarah to express herself through her photographs.
